COVID Hospitality Industry Recovery Program (CHIRP)

Step 1: Review the following program guidelines here.

Hospitality businesses with the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes located on the corporate tax return are eligible to apply:

721110- Hotels (except casino hotels) and Motels 
721120- Casino Hotels
721191- Bed and Breakfast Inns
721199- All other traveler accommodation 
721211- RV (recreational vehicle) parks and campgrounds 
721214- Recreational and vacation camps (except campgrounds)
721310- Rooming & Boarding Houses, dormitories and worker’s camp¬†
722310- Food service contractors
722320- Caterers 
722330- Mobile food services 
722410- Drinking places (alcoholic beverages)
722511- Full Service Restaurants
722513- Limited Service Restaurants 
722514- Cafeterias, grill buffets, and buffets 
722515- Snack and nonalcoholic beverage bars

Submit the following list of items through One Drive to complete your application. Once your application is uploaded to our system, you will receive an email confirming receipt. Any incomplete submissions will not be processed. You will receive an email notification if your application was incomplete to allow you the opportunity to re-submit a complete application prior to the application deadline.

When prompted, enter the name of the contact person as included in your online application.  This will match your supporting documents with your online submission. 

Once we receive your application you will receive an email confirming receipt within a few days. We are working diligently to process the applications in a timely manner. Round 1 awards will be announced April 8, 2021.

  2. Profit & Loss Income Statement for the business for 2020, organized by month
  3. Completed W9
  4. 2020 business tax return
  5. 2019 business tax return
  6. 2018 business tax return if 2020 business return is not available
  7. Signed Self- Certification form

 *** It is recommended that the Applicant consult with its business accountant to determine any tax implications related to receiving federal grant funding. The Adams County Economic Development Corporation will not provide any guidance in this regard. The business will receive a 1099 for receipt of the funds.***
